New Dawn Padel

Padel has developed from a relatively niche European pastime into one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.

More than 35 million people now play globally. In 2025 alone, over 14,000 new courts were built, taking the worldwide total beyond 77,000 across 150 countries. The number of padel clubs increased by 16% in a single year.

Growth in Britain has been even more dramatic. Participation rose from just 15,000 people in 2019 to 860,000 in 2025 and has since passed one million. Awareness has reached 57% of British adults, while more than 10 million people say they would like to try the sport.

Supply is expanding, but it is still chasing demand. Britain had only 69 courts in 2020. By the end of 2025, that had increased to 1,553 courts across 559 venues. Participation more than doubled during 2025, growing considerably faster than the number of available courts.

The appeal is unusually broad. Padel is social, normally played as doubles and easier for beginners to learn than many traditional racket sports. At the same time, its competitive and repeatable nature encourages frequent play, creating the potential for strong utilisation and recurring customer revenue.

New Dawn Padel exists to help close this infrastructure gap. Its opportunity is to create high-quality, accessible venues for a rapidly expanding community of players in locations where demand has moved ahead of supply.
